What is Proto?
Proto is a scalar prediction market on Solana. Instead of betting YES or NO, you go long or short a single number with leverage and get paid by how right you are. If you've traded perps, it will feel familiar.

How is Proto different from YES/NO prediction markets?
Most prediction markets, like Kalshi and Polymarket, are YES or NO, so you win everything or nothing. On Proto you take a view on a number and get paid by how right you are.
What markets will Proto have?
The first markets cover numbers people already argue about, settled against official sources. AI buildout: data center growth, AI capex, DRAM and memory demand, and the power that runs the GPUs. Defense: defense contracts and government AI spending. Macro: inflation and the Trump approval rating.
Why scalar markets?
On today's number markets you can be right about the direction and still end up with zero. Splitting one question into price ranges also spreads the trading thin across many small markets.
How do markets settle?
Each market names its official source before trading opens. Several periods are open at the same time.
Can I close before settlement?
Yes. You can trade in and out any time before a market settles.
Do I need to know crypto?
No. Pay with a card or bank account and Proto handles the crypto for you, or connect a wallet you already use. Everything is in USDC, digital dollars.
Who can use Proto?
Proto is not available in the US, Canada or sanctioned countries.
